Self-Discovery Brings Recovery
Counseling for Mental Health, Drug, and Alcohol Issues.
Global Motivational Counseling Center is a comprehensive mental and behavioral healthcare provider committed to caring for the needs of individuals, adolescents and families through outpatient services: Substance Use Evaluation and Treatment, Professional Psychotherapy, Faith Based Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Elderly Care and assistance with Case Management and Bi-Lingual Spanish Services.
At Global Motivational Counseling Center, we are here to provide a new perspective toward a better quality of life in a comfortable environment. Our therapists are ready to counsel and begin your journey of healing and motivation with you. At GMCC, Christian faith-based therapy is offered for those who want to remain grounded in Biblical principles. Contact us today to schedule an appointment to meet with one of our licensed therapists at our office or through teletherapy.
Faith Based
GMCC is certified to conduct the Arno Profile System (APS) Assessment. The faith-based APS temperament assessments and educational sources are Christian tools to assess your God-given temperament. The assessment helps clients better understand themselves, revealing strengths and weaknesses and emphasizing their personal needs as well as how to ask the Lord to help in addressing those personal needs.
Counseling
At GMCC, we develop a comprehensive mental health and/or substance abuse individual outpatient counseling plan that is customized to address each client’s individual therapeutic needs. The program is created collaboratively (therapist and client) in a safe, comfortable environment that encourages sharing the pain, joy, fears and goals that will guide our sessions.
Individual & Family
We are dedicated to caring for the needs of individuals and families and offer counseling programs specifically designed to address family dynamics. Understanding family systems and the roles each person plays within their family structure helps address dysfunction and trauma—including generational trauma. As family members learn more about themselves and each other, they begin to heal as a group as well as individuals.

Our Approach & Philosophy
At the core of our counseling philosophy is to encourage our clients to not despise small beginnings. It takes one small step in the right direction to learn new habits and to start over.
According to the Bible: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new. You are not tied to the past; you can create something new and you can do it one changed habit at a time.
The concept of pressing into the future and pushing past the old barriers is important for new habits to develop. I have used the saying “erase the chalkboard” or “it is time to change your favorites” because many of the things we do are simply habits– but habits are learned and can be unlearned and then a new habit learned again. This is a very effective tool for lifelong change, but it requires an intentional effort and patience for the process.
The philosophy of not despising small beginnings is about staying motivated even if you do not see an immediate major change. Instead of disappointment, be proud of your first small step toward change – and each additional step — as you intentionally change one habit at a time throughout your quest to live your life to the fullest. – Lori LoManto, MA, LPC, CDAC

Inevitable Change
Change is a concept so malleable to an individual’s will and circumstance that it can be difficult to specifically define in terms that are relatable to all of us. The word alone may conjure up feelings of hope and promise in some yet dread and anxiety for others....
